BikoLit
Just imagine that you're living in the 2050s and the world has changed drastically. People began to realize that in order to survive you'll have to embrace nature. Everything that needs to be powered somehow is either electric or provided by mother earth.
Within this scenario I came up with BikoLit. Illuminating disks that the cyclist attaches to the sides of their wheels, eliminating the use of batteries or dynamo's.
The disks are filled with water and alges. Dinoflagellates to be exact. When these alges are disturbed they'll light up. So when the cyclist's wheels, along with the disks, start turning they'll provide the perfect light to help them through the dark.
